Teryl Rothery is an actor from Canada, who has appeared on stage, on television and in film. She is most famous for playing Janet Fraiser in the TV series Stargate SG-1. 1] She was the star of Cedar Cove's Grace Sherman, as well as appearing in prominent roles like Muriel in Virgin River, Jean Loring in Arrow and Celia Hudson, in Nancy Drew. She has also been a part of numerous television shows. Rothery started dancing at 9 years old and considered 1995 to be her first year as an entertainer. Her first professional appearances as a performer were the musical Bye Bye Birdie at age 13[3] and also in the Marpole Community Theatre's production of The Sound of Music at age 14. In her early years, she was a dancer on The Irish Rovers variety television show[2] and also appeared in the musical The Sound of Music at age 14.
